Privacy Policy

This is a plain-English v1 policy for an early-stage product. It describes how OfferLoop (operated by the team at support@tryofferloop.com) handles your data. We'll replace this with a lawyer-reviewed document before broader launch.

What we collect

• Account data: your email (used to sign you in, by link or password), display name, current role, years of experience, and anything you paste into the resume field.
• Content you create: job descriptions, loops, interview transcripts, scorecards, code and notes written during coding sessions, pipeline status.
• Realtime audio during sessions: your microphone audio is streamed to OpenAI's Realtime API for live transcription and interviewer responses. We do not retain raw audio after a session ends. We do retain the text transcript in your account.
• Billing data: card details are handled entirely by our payment processors — Stripe on the web, and Apple's In-App Purchase on iOS. We never see your card number. We see your subscription status, plan, and period end.
• Usage data: product analytics — page views and events like starting or finishing a session. When you are signed in these are tied to your account, and your user ID and email address are sent to our analytics provider so the events join up across visits.

Sub-processors

• Supabase — auth, database, file storage. Data stored in US region.
• OpenAI — realtime voice inference, scorecard grading, coding-interviewer reasoning. API data is not used to train OpenAI's models (we use their paid API tier).
• Stripe — payment processing, billing portal.
• Vercel — web hosting, edge delivery.
• PostHog — product analytics. Receives your user ID and email address once you sign in, plus the page views and product events described above.
• Resend — transactional email delivery. Receives your email address and the contents of the messages we send you, which for a session recap includes your scores and feedback from that session.
• RevenueCat — subscription management for purchases made in the iOS app. Receives your user ID and the status of your purchase. Apple processes the payment itself.

What we do NOT do

• Sell your data.
• Share your transcripts, scorecards or resume with anyone other than the sub-processors listed above, each of which only receives what it needs to do its job.
• Use your practice content to train any model (ours or anyone else's).
• Retain microphone audio after a session closes.

Your rights

You can delete your account and everything attached to it at any time from Settings → Delete my account. This irreversibly removes your profile, loops, sessions, scorecards, and subscription. If you'd prefer to email a deletion request, write to support@tryofferloop.com.

Security

Data at rest is encrypted by our sub-processors. Data in transit is TLS-only. We are a small team and do not have SOC 2 yet — we'll add it before enterprise-tier launch.
